I'm not sure I beleive your post. Title - "Newbie" You sucker everyone in with a crisp photo with a 2 foot shark and then you reel us in with a big bull. How do you go from 3lb shark to 300lb shark over night?
Well snook that first pic i posted was taken last april/may when i first realized i could catch sharks. We are from ohio ( my hubby and i) we just moved here aug 2009 and back then we didn't have the right rods and reels to reel in the BIG sharks or even a kayak to get our baits out! My husband joined this forum and learned what we needed to land the big guys 
We invested in some BIG rods and reels and here we are today
the pic of my first bull shark ( that my husband posted) was taken about 3 weeks ago .. that was the first BIG shark i caught:)
Last week i caught my biggest bull shark to date 96 inches long .. i reeled him in using the 12ot and hubby helped get him up on the beach! Since that catch i am now addicted to shark fishing! I plan on entering the big hammer challenge and im working on saving up for an avet reel.
If anyone would like to investigate my shark fishing skills u can come watch me any time u wish!
The roving shark fisherman may end up any where. He loves the west cost. 
JD you just let us know when you wanna hit the beach!
